Day 01: Kolkata – Haridaspur – Petrapole (Indian Boarder)

By Walking Cross The Boarder & Enter Into Bangladesh (Benapole Boarder)| Benapole – Jessore 

Assemble at Mirza Galib Street at Kolkata 1 hour prior to departure at designated Bus Stand of the Coach Company. After assemble and reporting of all guests, a short briefing will be given by our Tour Manager. After briefing complete formalities and board the air conditioned coach for Indo-Bangladesh Boarder. The schedule departure time of luxury air conditioned coach from Kolkata is 07:30 hrs for Haridaspur-Petrapole boarder.  Haridaspur is on the Indian border side commonly known as Petrapole. On arrival at boarder, collect your baggage and report to Indian Immigration Office to complete formalities and followed by customs. After crossing the boarder by walking to Bangladesh, Benapole boarder, to complete all formalities. Welcome to Bangladesh & joining for Sonar Bangla Tour!!! After completing all formalities, board the Air Conditioned Micro Bus and leave for Jessore enroute lunch at local restaurant. After lunch visit Sagardari to see the birth place of Michael Madhusudan Dutta. Michael Madhusudan Dutt (1824-1873), He was born in the village Sagardari, Keshabpur Upozila , Jessore District, Bengal (now in Bangladesh). He was a pioneer of Bengali drama and famous 19th century Bengali poet and dramatist.  His famous work Meghnadh Bodh Kabya is a grand heroic-tragic ballad. It consists of nine cantos and is quite exceptional in Bengali literature both in terms of style and content. After visiting the birthplace of great poet, leave for Jessore.  On arrival at Jessore, transfer to hotel for check-in. Evening free for leisure and own activities. Dinner at hotel.

Day 02: Jessore – Kushtia

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. After breakfast check-out and leave Jessore for Kushtia. On arrival at Kushtia, transfer to hotel and check-in. Lunch at hotel. After freshen-up and evening proceed to visit “Majar” of famous Baul Guru Lalan Shah Fakir and in the evening enjoy a cultural folk program performed by the local bauls. Day 03: Kushtia - Dhaka

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. After breakfast check-out and leave Kushtia for Dhaka enroute visiting to Shilaidaha Kuthi Bari, a country house or Kuthi Bari, made by Prince Dwarkanath Tagore, located in Kushtia district. Rabindra Nath visited Shilaidaha number of times between 1891 to 1901 and spent part of his life here and created some of his memorable poems, essays and short stories, such as Sonar Tari, Katha o Kahini, Chitra, Chaitali, Naibedya, Kheya and many many of the songs from Gitanjali and Geetimalya. He also translated many of his creations in English there. After visiting to Kuthi Bari, leave for Dhaka, will cross through the historical Goalanda Ferry Ghat on the River Padma River. In old days the Eastern Bengal Railway…opened the line from Kolkata to Goalanda ghat, on the southern bank of the Padma in 1871. Goalundo was for many years a major transportation hub for travel in eastern parts of Bengal and Assam and been described in Tagore’s creative with various forms. Lunch will served on the way at local restaurant.  Before reaching to Dhaka, enroute visit Savar Smriti Soudho or Jatiyo Sriti Shoudho (National Martyrs’ Memorial) is the national monument of Bangladesh – the symbol in the memory of the valour and the sacrifice of all those who gave their lives in the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971, which brought independence and separated Bangladesh from Pakistan. On arrival at Dhaka, transfer to hotel and check-in. Dinner at hotel.

Day 04: Dhaka – Comilla - Mainamoti - Chittagong

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. After breakfast check-out and leave Dhaka for Chittagong en route visiting to Barodi Loknath Temple, 2nd World War Cemetery, Buddhist Civilization at Mainamoti.

Barodi Loknath Temple: Loknath Ashram is based on Baba Loknath, a saint and Hindu religious, spiritual philosopher in Bengal. The Ashram is in Narayanganj district. It’s 35 km from Dhaka. Samadhi of Baba is in this temple only.

2nd World War Cemetery: This cemetery was established to honor the soldiers and others who died in World War II. The cemetery was created by the British Army, and there were originally about 400 burials. There are now 731 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-45 war here, 17 of which are unidentified.

Buddhist Civilization at Mainamoti: It is an isolated low, dimpled range of hills, dotted with more than 50 ancient Buddhist settlements of the 8th to 12th century A.D. It is extended through the centre of the district of Comilla. Mainamati is located almost 8 miles from the town of Comilla, Bangladesh. It is the home of one of the most important Buddhist archaeological sites in the region. After the visit leave Comilla for Chittagong. Lunch on the way at local restaurant. On arrival in Chittagang, transfer to hotel for check-in. Dinner at hotel.

Day 05: Chittagong – Rangamati

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. After breakfast check-out and leave for Patanga Marine Beach Drive which is the mohona of the Karnaphuli River & Bay of Bengal, Chatteswari Temple & historic European Club famous for the freedom fighter – Pritilata Wathdeder. Rangamati is a travel destination of Bangladesh which is known as the “Lake City”. From Chittagong a 77 km road amidst green fields and winding hills leads to Rangamati; which is a wonderful repository of scenic splendors with flora and fauna of varied descriptions. The township is located on the western bank of the Kaptai Lake. Rangamati is a favourite holiday destination because of its beautiful landscape, scenic beauty, lake, colourful indigenous groups (Chakma, Marma etc.), its flora and fauna, hanging bridge etc. Later transfer to Rangamati. On arrival in Rangamati, transfer to hotel for check-in. Dinner at hotel.

Day 06: Rangamati – Cox’s Bazar

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. After breakfast check-out and leave to visit the Tribal Museum, Subholong Water Falls followed by an amazing Cruise at Kaptai Lake. Kaptai Lake Is a manmade lake in south-eastern Bangladesh. It is located in the Rangamati District of Chittagong Division. The lake was created as a result of building the Kaptai Dam on the Karnaphuli River, as part of the Karnaphuli Hydro-electric project. The Kaptai Lake’s average depth is 100 feet (30 m) and maximum depth is 490 feet (150 m). Through the hilly scenic route we will take you to Cox’s Bazar. On arrival in Cox’s Bazar, transfer to hotel for check-in. Dinner at hotel.

Day 07: Cox’s Bazar – St. Martin’s Island

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. After breakfast check-out and leave for southern most part of Bangladesh, to start from Teknuf and on arrival at Teknaf, to board the Cruise-vessel to sail for St Martin’s Island. St. Martin’s Island is a small island (8 sq. km) in the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal, about 9 km south tip of the Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf peninsula in Bay of Bengal. There is a small adjoining island that is separated during high tide, called Chera Dwip. It is about 8 km west of northwest coast of Myanmar, at the mouth of the Naf River.  Rickshaws are available in the island, but it is better to self walking in the beach and enjoy the atmosphere. After the excursion, transfer to hotel for check-in. Dinner at hotel.

Day 08: St. Martin’s Island – Cox’s Bazar

Experience the beautiful Sunrise. Enjoy breakfast at hotel. After breakfast free activities till departure. Check-out and lunch at hotel. After lunch transfer to ferry ghat to board cruise vessel for Teknaf. On arrival at Teknaf transfer to Cox’s Bazar. On arrival at Cox Bazar, transfer to hotel. Dinner at hotel.

Day 09: Cox’s Bazar - Chittagong

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast free for beach activities. After lunch visit to sea view point at Himchori and explore the Enani Beach. Then leave for Chittagong. On arrival Chittagong, transfer to hotel. Dinner at hotel.

Day 10: Chittagong - Dhaka

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, check-out and leave for Dhaka. Lunch on the way. On arrival at Dhaka, transfer to hotel and check-in. Dinner at hotel.

Day 11: In Dhaka

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, leave for half day sightseeing of Dhaka, visiting to Dhaka University, National Parliament (Outside), Central Shaheed Minar, Dhakeswari Temple, Lalbag Fort, Ramana Kali Bari, Ramakrishna Mission, Cemetery of Kazi Nazrul Islam, Bangabandhu Museum. Lunch at local restaurant.  Evening is free for shopping at the famous Basundhara City Shopping Arcade. Authentic dinner at hotel/local restaurant.

Day 12: Dhaka – Kolkata

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast check-out and leave Dhaka for Bangladesh-India Boarder to return back to Kolkata. Lunch on the way. On arrival at Benapole – Bangladesh-India Boarder, to complete immigration and customs formalities and then enter into India and after completing all the formalities, leave Haridaspur for Kolkata.

  • This offer is calculated on basis of forward contract rate from the Bank Rate of Exchange calculated $USD 1=INR67.
  • The official check-in time & check-out time at all hotels will be 12:00 noon.

  • Tour Price needs to be paid in equivalent Indian Rupees against the Foreign Exchange component at the prevailing Rate of exchange by Bank on date of full payment / purchase.

Payment Terms & Conditions:

  • We would request you to kindly make the Booking & Name Registration as early as possible by paying of INR 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) by An A/C payee cheque or DD in favour of “Sunshine Holidays & Leisure (P) Ltd” payable at Kolkata. Guest may also pay in Cash if desires. The balance amount of the tour packages must be cleared and settled 45 days before the journey.
  • The guest require to pay Foreign Exchange portion in Indian Currency of the Tour Packages out of his/her eligible Basic Travel Quota (BTQ) as per prevailing bank rates of the day at the time Final Payment before 45 days before the journey date.
  • Registration Amount : Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand)
  • Balance Amount : Within 15 Days from the day of Booking
  • Final Payment for Foreign Exchange Component: 45 Days before departure

Cancellation Terms & policies:

  • In case of Refusal of Visa ( Partial or Full) : Cost of Visa + Bus Fare + Service charges of INR 5,000/-
  • 45 Days before departure : Registration Amount of Rs. 5,000/-
  • 44 Days ~ 15 Days before departure : 50% of the Tour Price
  • 14 Days ~ 04 Days before departure : 75% of the Tour Price
  • 03 days ~ Day of departure OR No Show: 100% of the Tour price

VISA:

Submission of personal Documents for Applying Visa for the visiting country/countries: 

All necessary travel documents for processing respective Visas for visiting countries to be submitted to the respective Embassies or Consulates as early as possible at least 20 days prior departure date.
