Also any kind of delays in any nature, Public Disturbances, Strikes, Wars, Riots, Cyclone, Typhoon, Storm, Flood, Tsunami, Bandh and Terrorist Attack cannot be held responsible and liable directly or indirectly. Highlights of the 1st Day on River Nile Cruise

  • HIGH DAM: The High Dam is the largest rock-filled dam in the universe and one of the emerging engineering outfits of the 20th Century and Lake Nesser with a surface of 4000 sq km lies behind the dam.
  • FELUCCA SAILING: Felucca is a traditional Egyptian sailing boat. We shall sail the felucca around the Elephantine Island and Temple of Philae. After experiences, return back to cruise and dinner on cruise.

Highlights of the 2nd Day on River Nile Cruise

  • KOM OMBO TEMPLE: It is exquisitely situated on a dune above a bend in the Nile. It is shared equally by two Gods – Sobek, the crocodile god of the Nile fertility and Haroeis, the elder hours.
  • EDFU: The town of Edfu boats Egypt’s most preserved temple dedicate to Horus, the god of sun & planets. The Falcon – his symbol is a prominent decoration. An existing Hantour (horse carriage) ride takes you from the Nile to the temple platform.

Highlights of the 3rd Day on River Nile Cruise

  • GREAT TEMPLES OF LUXOR AND KARNAK: “Here are works in whose presence it is a task for the imagination to overtake the eyesight’’. The impressive Temple of Luxor with its noble bud columns stand in the heart of modern town. It served only as the setting for the solemn New Years pageant honouring the chief god, Amon. The Temples of Luxor appears only minor when compared to the awesome Karnak Temples.

Highlights of the 4th Day on River Nile Cruise

  • VALLEY OF THE KINGS: It is shelters the fabled tombs of the pharaohs. More than 40 pharaohs were laid to rest here in ornate subterranean palaces penetrating sometimes under 100 m into the face of the rock.
  • EL DEIR EL BAHARI (SPLENDOUR OF SPLENDOURS): On the plains at the foot of the rugged Theban Mountain, set in a dramatic amphitheatre of rocky cliffs, stands the terraced Temple of Deir El Bahari – a splendid example of architecture which Queen Hatshepsut had built about 1490 BC. Queen Hatshepsut was the only woman to rule Egypt as a pharaoh.

Day 01: Kolkata to Doha to Cairo

Assemble at Kolkata, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Int’l Airport, Domestic Terminal Building, 3 hours before departure of flight near Gate No: 2A. After getting inside the terminal building to complete security check of checked-in baggage, followed by check-in formalities. After completion all formalities, proceed for immigration, customs and hand baggage security check and wait near boarding gate for boarding announcement.  After boarding the flight leave Kolkata for Cairo via Doha. After take-off refreshment will be served on board. On arrival at Doha Hamad int’l Airport, Doha disembark the flight and on arrival at terminal building after completing security formalities, proceed to boarding gate to board the flight for Cairo. Leave Doha for Cairo by Qatar Airways. After take-off breakfast will be served on board. Welcome to Egypt – The Land of Pharaohs !!! On arrival at Cairo int’l Airport, Terminal 3, proceed towards Immigration Counter to complete formalities and after pick-up the checked-in baggages from the carrousel, clear the customs. Our representative will meet the group near exit gate at terminal hall after the customs area and then transfer to hotel in Cairo. On arrival at hotel, to complete check-in formalities and after freshen-up leave hotel to experience the world famous Light & Sound Event on Pyramids. After the show proceed for dinner at Indian restaurant. After dinner visit Al-Mokkatam Mountain for panoramic view of Cairo. After sightseeing, transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Cairo

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, guide will meet at hotel lobby and then leave hotel for exploring the most dream destination and popular sights of Egypt – The Great Pyramids of Giza. The Cheops (Khufu) Pyramid – largest of the three was built in the 3rd Dynasty about 2690 BC and is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. In front of the Pyramid of Chephren (Khafre) you will find the Lord of the Sphinx carved from single piece of stone. After sightseeing, proceed for lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit to another main attraction and world famous museum for its collection and antiquities of Egypt, Egyptian Museum from Egypt’s Pharaonic period including Mummy, Perfumery section and Papyrus Museum. Later on we will visit to Khan-El-Khalili – the famous Cairo Oriental Bazaar for shopping of traditional theme. After shopping, proceed for dinner at Indian restaurant. After dinner, transfer to hotel.

Day 03: Cairo to Alexandria

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. After breakfast we would be visiting Saqqara – known for the Step Pyramid, the oldest known of Egypt’s 97 pyramids. Saqqara is one section of the great necropolis of Memphis, the Old Kingdom capital and the kings of the 1st Dynasty as well as that of the 2nd Dynasty are mostly buried in this section of the Memphis necropolis. It has been of constant interest to Egyptologists. Three major discoveries have recently been made at Saqqara, including a prime minister’s tomb, a queen’s pyramid, and the tomb of the son of a dynasty-founding king. Each discovery has a fascinating story, with many adventures for the archaeologists as they revealed the secrets of the past. It was built for King Djoser of the 3rd Dynasty by the architect and genius Imhotep, who designed it and its surrounding complex to be as grand as it was unique and revolutionary. Lunch at local restaurant. After sightseeing leave Cairo for Alexandria – Mediterranean Pearl via desert road. On arrival at Alexandria proceed for dinner at local restaurant. After dinner, transfer to hotel.

Day 04: Alexandria to Cairo to Overnight On Train

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. After breakfast check-out and leave hotel for sightseeing of Alexandria – the former capital of Egypt visiting to Roman Amphitheatre, Montazah Palace, Catacomb–the underground tombs of Pompeii Column and Kom El Shuquafa, New Library of Alexandria, Alexandrina Bibliotheca, Qaite Bay Citadel (outside View). After sightseeing lunch at oriental restaurant on the way and transfer to Cairo to board overnight train for Aswan. On arrival at Cairo, transfer to Cairo Station to board overnight train (Air Conditioned 1st Class Sleeper Berth) for Aswan. Continental style dinner will be served on train.

Day 05: Aswan to Board The 5 Star Deluxe Nile Cruise

1st Day

Enjoy breakfast on board. On arrival at Aswan, disembark the train and our local representative will meet and assist upon arrival and transfer to the pier to embark the 5 Star Deluxe Cruise on the River Nile for 3 nights & 4 days. On arrival at pier embark the cruise and complete check-in formalities. After allocation of cabin, dropping the baggage, freshen-up and lunch on cruise. After lunch proceed for a guided tour to visit the passing over the Old Dam and the High Dam, which provides irrigation and electricity to the whole Egypt and then a motor boat ride to visit the beautiful Temple of Philae on Isis Island, Unfinished Obelisk, Felucca Sailing in around the Elephantine & Botanical Islands viewing the Agha Khan Mausoleum. After sightseeing back to the cruise.

Day 06: On Board The 5 Star Deluxe Nile Cruise

2nd Day

ABU SIMBEL & [KOM OMBO ~ EDFU~ ESNA]

Very early morning to get-up and after having morning tea and biscuits, collect packed breakfast from cruise authorities and leave with a Government appointed escorted tour to the great Temples of Abu Simbel flanked by four giant stone statues of Ramses II. On arrival at the sites of  Abu Simbel – the most attractive place of Egypt to visit the massive rock- cut twin temples were originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramsses II in the 13th century BC, as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefertari, to commemorate his victory at the Battle of Kadesh. On your way back, visit High Dam, the largest rock filled Dam in the world. Witness one of the best engineering feats of 20th Century on Lake Nasser. With a surface of 4000 sq km, Lake Nasser lies under the Dam. Take a photo stop at Nasser Memorial Tower. Return to the cruise for lunch. After lunch the cruise will sail to Kom Embo. Visit The Ptolemaic Temple shared by Twom Gods, Temples of Sobek, the Crocodile God Heroeris. Sail to Edfu. Enjoy the buffet dinner.

Day 07: ON Board The 5 Star Deluxe Nile Cruise

Enjoy the breakfast on cruise. After breakfast transfer by Kalesh or by horse-drawn carriage brings you through the town of Edfu to the Temple of Horus (also known as the Temple of Edfu) considered the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt. This is partly because it was built later than most: in the Ptolemaic era from 237 to 57 BC. Yet despite its later date, it exactly reflects traditional pharaonic architecture and so provides an excellent idea of how all the temples once looked. It is also the second largest in Egypt after Karnak Temple. After visits to these amazing sites, return to the cruise and sail to Esna. We will cross Esna Lock Gate between 8 ~ 9 o’clock and will reach at Luxor around 12.00 noon. Lunch will be served on Cruise. On arrival at Luxor (East Bank) will visit the huge Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple to feel the eternity of Egyptian era. The Karnak Temple Complex, commonly known as Karnak, is a vast open-air museum. It consists of four main parts, of which only the largest is currently open to the general public. The term Karnak often is understood as being the Precinct of Amun-Ra only. The Luxor Temple is a large Ancient Egyptian temple complex located on the east bank of the Nile River in the city, today known as Luxor (ancient Thebes) and was founded in 1400 BC. In Luxor there are six great temples, the four on the left bank are known to travelers and readers of travels as Goornah, Deir-el-Bahri, the Ramesseum, and Medinet Habu; and the two temples on the right bank are known as the Karnak and Luxor. Day 08: On Board The 5 Star Deluxe Nile Cruise

4th Day Luxor

Enjoy early breakfast on cruise. After breakfast check-out and then to visit to the West Bank in Luxor to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon. The Valley of the Kings is a valley in Egypt where for a period of nearly 500 years from the 16th to 11th century BC, tombs were constructed for the Pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom. Then visit the Temple of HatshepsutEl Deir El Bahari: The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Djeser-Djeseru, is located beneath the cliffs at El Deir El Bahari on the west bank of the Nile near the Valley of the Kings in Egypt. Ramsey rulers and Tutankhamen Tomb within the valley is an Optional Visit. After the visit return back to the Nile Cruise and take personal baggage and transfer to hotel. Dinner at hotel.

Day 09: Luxor – Doha

Early breakfast at hotel. After breakfast check-out and then transfer to Luxor Int’l Airport to connect flight for Kolkata via Doha. After all formalities board the flight. After take-off lunch will be served on board. On arrival at Doha Hamad Int;’l Airport to complete all formalities and proceed for boarding the onward flight. After take-off dinner will be served on board

On arrival at Kolkata proceed to immigration counter to complete the formalities and pick-up check-in baggage from the carrousel and clear the customs and return back to home with sweet memories of the tour.

  • Once booking is done and ticket is issued, then Changes or Cancellations permitted prior to departure with payment of cancellation fee and difference in fare if applicable depending on Airlines Rules. Sometimes, after issuing the ticket, Airlines do not allow refunds as per their rules and conditions of the tickets.
  • This Itinerary has been planned as per recommendation received from our foreign suppliers and based on flight schedule.
  • Cost of Overseas Travel Insurance is not mandatory but we highly recommend caver and take benefit out of it.

Payment Terms & Conditions:

We would request you to kindly make the Booking & Name Registration as early as possible by paying of INR 40,000/- by  an A/C payee cheque or DD in favour of “Sunshine Holidays & Leisure (P) Ltd” payable at Kolkata. Guest may also pay in Cash if desires. The balance amount of the tour packages require to be paid/cleared 45 days before the journey date.

The guest require to pay Foreign Exchange portion of the Tour Packages Cost out of his/her eligible BTQ quota as per prevailing bank rates of the day and have to pay by A/C payee cheque or DD in favour of “Sunshine Holidays & Leisure (P) Ltd” payable at Kolkata, 45 days before the journey date to enable us to process the fund for remitting to the foreign suppliers towards the land arrangements.

Booking & Name Registration Amount: INR 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand)

Balance Amount: 45 Days before the journey date

Final Payment for Foreign Exchange Component: 45 Days before the departure date

Tour Cancellation Policy & Rate:

  • If any guest cancel the tour for whatsoever the reason, then we will refund INR 25,000/- and INR 15,000/- will be retained as Cancellation Charges towards our services and processing fees.
  • As per policy of the hotels, Cancellation policy will be applicable for any reduction of rooms and you are kindly requested to please convey us the cancellation or change of room requirements, if any, in writing in advance. Late information will attract cancellation charges and have to be borne by you.
  • In case of Refusal of Visa : Cost of Cancellation Charges of Air Ticket as applicable as Terms & Condition of the airlines + Cost Documentation and Visa Processing Charges (INR 2500/-).
  • 45 Days before departure: INR 25,000/-
  • 44 Days ~ 15 Days before departure: 50% of the Tour Price
  • 14 Days ~ 07 Days before departure: 75% of the Tour Price
  • 07 days ~ Day of Departure OR No Show : 100% of the Tour Price

Submission of personal Documents for Applying Visa for the visiting country/countries: 

  • All necessary travel documents for processing respective Visas for visiting countries to be submitted to the respective Embassies or Consulates as early as possible at least 45 days prior departure date.
